Pledge: Help Cincinnati Council send "Care Packages" to Deployed Sailors! A key mission of Navy League is to support those serving our country in the Sea Services. Last December, our Navy League Council paid to ship holiday packages to Navy Reservists deployed overseas from the Cincinnati Navy Operations Support Center (NOSC) (formerly the Reserve Center). Currently, about 50 local Navy Reservists are deployed, and NOSC intends to again send packages to help them celebrate Independence Day. The packages will include donated material and special personal items from their family members like pictures, notes, and arts and crafts that their children will be making on NOSC Family Day on June 24. Navy League members are invited to attend Family Day at NOSC, and the Care Packages will then be shipped for July 4 delivery. Navy League members are invited to provide direct support to our local deployed Sailors and their families. Your donation of $10 or more will be matched equally by the Cincinnati Council and allow us to ship a two-box Care Package to one Sailor. Please support our Sailors with your donation. Donations larger than $10 are appreciated. Make a difference for our deployed Sailors. Help them celebrate Independence Day as they work to preserve our hard-won independence.
